I'm starting to go through all the currently hosted files and moving them to hostfile but i'll stop if you've got other thoughts on the matter.

And another picky thing. Make sure you're entering the area name in the FLickr section. If you don't enter a name, it says Area Name Images. Be sure to put a tag for flickr in the field when making a page, and to tag the page wiht the corresponding tag. If that's a little confusing, i updated the guide to submissions last week when I came up with that system.

By making a temporary copy of the boundaries (since there is no "undo" button in GE) and turning them white, you can get something that looks pretty similar to the official trail map:
